Jemima Bullock (she/her) is a Consultant Clinical Psychologist and Neuropsychologist. She works in the Endocrine & Diabetes Department based at Wellington Regional Hospital. She has been specialising in gender affirming health care since 2016, with a focus on supporting trans and non-binary people with their physical transition. This includes support for gender affirming hormone therapy (GAHT) and/or surgical options. She is a co-author for the Guidelines for Gender Affirming Healthcare for Gender Diverse and Transgender Children, Young People and Adults in Aotearoa New Zealand (2018), and a steering committee member for the update, and a co-author for the Primary Care Gender Affirming Hormone Therapy Initiation Guidelines 2023. She is looking forward to sharing trans and non-binary people’s experiences of sport and exercise participation, and the barriers and facilitators of physical activity for this marginalised group.
