As a Medical Advisor within Integrated Recovery, you will have the opportunity to work as part of an interdisciplinary team providing consistent, accurate, timely and helpful clinical guidance to frontline teams. The focus will be on direct collaborative communication that supports positive rehabilitation outcomes for kiritaki.
You will play a vital role in growing the capability of frontline teams along with helping to shape future ways of working within Clinical Services. You will contribute to achieving the shared objectives of Clinical Services aligned to ACC’s overarching Huakina Te Rā strategy.

Essential:
Relevant medical qualification and vocationally registered
At least 5 years clinical experience
Current Annual Practising Certificate and professional medical indemnity insurance

Adaptable and open to testing innovative ways of working
Excellent verbal and written communicator and collaborator
Proactive, approachable and pragmatic
Experience in complex rehabilitation
An understanding of clinical best practice, and medicolegal principals

Dedicated to contributing to a positive trusting culture
Ability to manage competing priorities effectively
High level of competence in using a wide range of digital platforms
Desirable:
Familiar with ACC systems and processes
Proven successful experience working as part of an interdisciplinary team within operational environments
Proven successful experience in managing self through change and uncertainty
Proven successful experience in working as part of a virtual team
An understanding of ACC legislation
An understanding of complex rehabilitation
