Medical Colleges support a National Climate Change and Health Strategy

The Australasian College of Sport and Exercise Physicians (ACSEP) in conjunction with nine other medical colleges have challenged political parties ahead of the Australian Federal Election to ensure that the healthcare system is both climate ready and climate friendly.

The statement recognises the impacts of the recent natural disasters on the health system and outlines steps forward, including the establishment of a National Climate Change and Health Strategy, to ensure a resilient healthcare system.
